AccuDial Prescription provides liquid medications for oral prescriptions to retail pharmacies. Historically, these types of medications are dosed to individual patients by their doctors from product information provided by the manufacturer or other authoritative sources. This leads to a series of points on the dispensing chain where a mistake can be made. With the AccuDial medication label indicating the dose for the medication based on the patient’s weight, no calculations or transfer of information need be done, which significantly reduces the possibility of errors in prescribing the medication. The doctor only needs to prescribe the actual medication, and the correct dosing and dispensing instructions are already right on the bottle for the patient.
