AccuDial Institutional provides liquid medications for oral, intravenous, and injectable prescriptions at institutional strength, exclusively for hospitals and clinics. Historically, these types of medications are dosed to individual patients by health care professionals from product information provided by the manufacturer or other authoritative sources. This leads to a series of points on the dispensing chain where a mistake can be made. With the AccuDial medication label indicating the dose for the medication based on the patient’s weight, no calculations or transfer of information need be done, which significantly reduces the possibility of errors in prescribing the medication.
